In plain words
Every guide is written or reviewed by a founder, opens with a direct answer and cites dated sources.
We never publish invented statistics, testimonials or prices, and we correct mistakes openly.
Who writes our guides
Guides in the Journal are written or reviewed by the founders of Dilaire, Deepesh Patel and Armaan Pardesi. Each guide names its author and shows the date it was last reviewed. Nobody outside the company writes for us, and nothing we publish is sponsored.
How we check facts
- Every number, price range, legal point or quotation comes from a named source, listed and dated at the end of the guide.
- We prefer primary sources: official government pages, court and registry guidance, and the published terms of the firms we describe.
- If we cannot verify something, we leave it out rather than estimate it.
- Guides open with a direct answer in the first two sentences, then explain it. Key facts are summarised so they are easy to check.
Prices and other firms
When a guide discusses what matchmaking costs, it uses ranges that other firms publish or that reputable media report, labelled with the date we checked them. We do not publish our own fees on this website; they are shared in writing at a first conversation. We describe other matchmakers and matrimony sites fairly, including when they may suit you better than we would.
What we never publish
- Invented statistics, success rates without a defined measure, or claims to be the “best” or “No. 1”.
- Testimonials, reviews or client stories that are not real, or that a client has not approved in writing.
- Anything that labels people by caste, community, colour or wealth.
- Legal, immigration or financial advice. Where a guide touches those subjects, it explains the question and points you to the official source or an independent professional.
Reviews and corrections
We review every guide when the facts it relies on change, and at least once a year. If you find an error, write to hello@dilaire.com. We correct factual mistakes promptly and note significant corrections at the foot of the guide.
Use of AI
AI tools may help with research outlines, first drafts and editing. A person rewrites, fact-checks and approves every word before it is published, and AI never decides anything about a client. Our AI-use disclosure sets out exactly where we use it and where we never do.
