How these guides are made
The Journal answers the questions families ask us before they ever book a call: what a matchmaker costs in India, how professional matchmaking actually works, how it compares with a matrimony site, and how to keep a search safe and private. Each guide gives the answer in its first two sentences, then the reasoning.
Every price range, legal point and figure is taken from a named, dated source listed at the end of the guide. We leave out what we cannot verify, never publish our own fees here, and describe other firms fairly. A founder signs off every guide and reviews it when the facts change.
