Marriage bureau or private matchmaker in Chandigarh?
A marriage bureau usually works by passing biodata from family to family. In the tricity, where professional and social circles overlap across three municipalities, a biodata can travel further than anyone intended, and a decision not to proceed can become a conversation in other people's homes.
We work the other way round. Nothing about you or your family is shared until both people have agreed to an introduction, and we introduce a few people at a time, each with written reasons why we think the match is worth a conversation.
One search across three cities
Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula sit in three different administrations, a Union Territory, Punjab and Haryana, but most families experience them as one place: people live in one, work in another and have relatives in the third. We treat the tricity, and the towns around it, as a single search area, so nobody is ruled out by a municipal line.
If the search should also include Delhi NCR, where many tricity graduates work, or a city abroad, we agree that scope at the start.
When a son or daughter lives abroad
It is common for tricity families to have a son or daughter studying or working overseas, often in Canada, the United Kingdom or Australia. Then the search has two homes. Parents in Chandigarh often begin the conversation; the person abroad decides who they meet and when.
We run the calls across both time zones. India is nine and a half to ten and a half hours ahead of Toronto, depending on the season, so a morning call in Chandigarh reaches Canada the evening before. Our pages for Canada, the UK and Australia explain how searches from those countries work.
Planning around the winter visit
Many families plan introductions around a visit home in December or January. Two or three weeks pass quickly, so we start months earlier: introductions and video calls happen first, and the trip is kept for the in-person meetings that both people already want.
We would rather arrange two well-prepared meetings than six rushed ones. If a visit is not planned, first meetings can happen in the tricity, in the other person's city, or on video until both families are ready.
Verification families can rely on
Before any introduction we verify identity, education, current work and marital status, with consent, for everyone involved. For someone living abroad we also check residency or visa status where it matters to the search, because it decides where a couple can build a life.
We verify facts, not family standing. Documents are seen, not stored, and we check again before each new introduction.
The person searching has the final word
We agree in writing, at the start, who receives which updates: the person searching, parents, or both. Families are welcome in the process and on the calls; the decision to meet, to continue or to stop belongs to the person whose marriage it will be.

Questions
Questions from Chandigarh
Do you also work with families in Mohali and Panchkula?
Yes. We treat Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and the towns around them as one search area, because that is how most families live. Introductions can be anywhere in the tricity, or wider if you choose.
How is this different from a marriage bureau in Chandigarh?
We do not circulate biodata or keep a public database. A founder leads your search, verifies everyone before an introduction and introduces a few people at a time, each with written reasons.
Our son works in Canada. Can the search include families here and there?
Yes. We agree the scope at the start, for example the tricity and Canada. Parents can lead the early conversations; your son decides who he meets. Calls are scheduled across both time zones.
Can introductions be planned around a December visit home?
Yes, and we recommend starting a few months before. Video calls come first, so the visit is kept for in-person meetings that both people already want, rather than a rushed series of first meetings.
Do we need to meet you in person to begin?
No. We work from India by phone and video, so families in the tricity, and children abroad, can begin without travelling. Your first call is a private conversation with one of the founders.
Who will see our family's details?
Only the people we introduce you to, and only after you agree. We hold no public profile, and we share the minimum each step needs. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
