Planning calls between the UK and India.

A Saturday morning call at 9am in London is early afternoon in India (1:30pm in summer, 2:30pm in winter), which makes family calls across both countries easy to arrange.

Marriage bureau or private matchmaker in London?

Many families comparing Indian matchmakers and marriage bureaus in London begin with a bureau, which usually works by sharing profiles widely. We work privately instead: no database, no circulated biodata, and every introduction verified and explained in writing.

A London search, without the circuit

London is one city with very different lives inside it: a partner in the City, a doctor on NHS rotas in an outer borough, an engineer commuting from the Home Counties. Two people who would suit each other can live an hour apart and never cross paths. We search across Greater London and its commuter towns as one area, so geography never decides who you meet.

Busy London weeks rarely leave room for a run of first dates. We keep introductions few and prepared, and suggest a first meeting somewhere central and easy for both, often after work in the week, rather than the weekend circuit of events and apps many people are tired of.

Second-generation and first-generation, both welcome

Some of the people who contact us grew up in Britain; others moved for study or work. Their families' expectations can differ a great deal. For many British Indian families, an arranged marriage in the UK today means an introduction the family helps to make and the person searching decides on. We start by listening to what you want from a marriage, then agree how closely your family will be involved.

Sometimes the most useful first step is a call with you alone, before your parents join, so we understand what you want in your own words.

Searches across the UK and India

We agree the scope at the start: someone here in Britain, someone in India open to moving, or both. With India only a few hours ahead, a call in your morning is an afternoon call for parents in India.

We verify where each person lives and, where relevant, their residency or visa status, because that shapes where a couple can build a life. If you are here on a work or student visa, tell us your plans; we share them with the people we introduce only with your consent.

Where first meetings happen

Within Britain, a first meeting is rarely more than a train ride away: London to Birmingham, Leicester or Manchester is an easy day trip, and we suggest somewhere convenient for both people. If one of you lives in India, introductions start on video and the first meeting in person is planned around a visit, in either direction.

Second marriages: the documents we check

If you, or someone we introduce, has been married before, we verify that the marriage has legally ended. In England and Wales the final document is now called a final order (a decree absolute under the rules before April 2022); Scotland and Northern Ireland use their own forms. For a marriage that ended in India, we look for the relevant court decree.

We only introduce people who are legally free to marry, and you decide how and when a previous marriage is shared.

Legal and practical questions

We are matchmakers, not lawyers. For registration of a marriage and spouse visas between the UK and India, we help you plan the timing and point you to independent professionals.

Questions

Questions from the UK

Are you a marriage bureau in London?

No. A bureau usually shares profiles widely. We run a private, founder-led search with no public database, verify everyone and introduce a few people at a time with written reasons.

Do you only work in London?

No. We work by phone and video with Indians across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and introductions can be in Britain, in India, or both, depending on the scope we agree.

My parents are in India. Can they be involved?

Yes. India is only four and a half to five and a half hours ahead, so a morning call in the UK suits parents in the afternoon. We agree who receives which updates at the start.

Can introductions include someone in Europe or the US?

If that is part of your search, yes. Signature covers up to three cities or countries, so a search can include Britain, India and one more country.

Do you verify UK residency or visa status?

Where it matters to the search, yes, with each person's consent, alongside identity, education, current work and marital status.

I grew up here and my parents grew up in India. Can you help us agree on the search?

Often, yes. We speak with you first about what you want from a marriage, then with your parents if you wish, and we agree in writing who is involved in what. You keep the final word on every introduction.
